A Manor Park Monday |
||
|
Good morning Manor Park,
Officers had an early start this morning - here you can see us visiting the Breakfast Club at Sherringham Primary School E12. Lots of curiosity from the children along with questions about my favourite football team. The first picture shows us with the Headteacher, Safe-Guarding Lead and the lovely lady who runs the Breakfast Club who simply insisted I had a bagel.
From there we carried out foot patrols along the Romford Road and into Manor Park ward. The second picture shows one of the digital adverts on display close to the junction of Romford Road/High Street North E12. Modern Day Slavery is a sad but very current fact of life - this group do great work helping victims and their website is well worth a visit: www.moderndayslaveryhelpline.org
Next we visited Station Road/Whitta Road E12 and the area around Manor Park Cemetery. A quick “hello” to staff at Manor Park library where I was happy to donate a winter coat to help the homeless before my colleague simply insisted on a photograph in front of the splendid Christmas tree.
Wishing you all a safe and happy start to the week !
Best wishes
Douglas Waterman PCSO 7134NE Manor Park SNT.
